For example, your niche is embroidery thread: you would definitely use the term “embroidery thread” as a keyword, but you would also use terms such as “colorful embroidery thread”, “craft thread”, “thread for embroidery”, “nylon thread”, “large spool thread”.
These words will be used by the browser to “match” the search to your embroidery site. The more relevantly unique the keywords are, the less competition from other bloggers is, to pull in readers. Search engines love unique keywords.
You would use these keywords in your article, mostly worked into your title, the first paragraph, and sub-headings within the article.
